With 29 years of experience in homebuilding across six states, I thrive in the fast-paced world of residential construction, where no two days are ever the same. Now in my first year as President of Bellaire Homes, I am committed to building luxury move-up homes and ensuring that our homeowners receive a seamless, high-quality experience.
Outside of work, Colleen (my spouse) and I enjoy sporting events and sharing many common interests. With our grown kids living out of state, our Goldendoodle, Ellie, and cat, Cowboy, provide us with hours of joy and entertainment.

Jim Kerr – Vice President of Operations
I have been with Bellaire Homes since January 2023, serving as Vice President of Operations. With 25 years of experience in homebuilding, all within the Greater San Antonio metro area, I thrive in the dynamic and ever-changing environment of residential construction. The fast-paced nature of this industry keeps me engaged, and I enjoy the challenges and opportunities that come with building high-quality homes.
Outside of work, family always comes first. My kids are active in high school athletics and cheer, which keeps our schedules full. When I do get free time, I love hunting and fishing in South Texas and spending quality time with family and friends.

Shawn Whitley – Construction Manager
With over 30 years of experience in residential construction, I oversee the ground-up construction of all homes in the Elkhorn Community. From breaking ground to the final walkthrough, I ensure that every home is built to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. The most rewarding part of my job? Handing the keys to happy homeowners and knowing that their new home will be the backdrop for lifelong family memories.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Building Development, and I’ve even owned my own construction company, bringing a wealth of expertise to Bellaire Homes.
Outside of work, family is everything—with four adult married children, two grandkids, and one on the way, our weekends are always filled with gatherings and celebrations.

When I’m not at work, you’ll find me traveling in my RV with my wife, two kids, and two dogs, enjoying the outdoors and making memories.
